When you submit a conversion request, we collect the phone number sending airtime or points, the receiving M-Pesa phone number, your M-Pesa registered name, the amount submitted, and technical details such as your IP address and device type for fraud prevention.

How we use your information

We use this information solely to verify your identity, process your conversion request, communicate with you about your request, and improve the security and reliability of our service.

Data protection

All data is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored in a protected database. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized DBS Kenya administrators only.

Information sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Information is shared only where required by law or to complete a transaction (for example, with mobile network operators as part of the airtime/points transfer itself).
